Tell your provider if you have had pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, kidney problems or diabetic eye disease, or take insulin or a sulfonylurea (risk of low blood sugar). Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain and decreased appetite. Seek care right away for severe stomach pain, a lump or swelling in the neck, trouble swallowing, or signs of an allergic reaction.

Before beginning

Your licensed provider reviews current medications, allergies, diagnoses, relevant lab work, and other safety factors. Do not stop or change existing treatment without speaking to your provider.
